Sodium laurel or laureth sulfate is a detergent. It is found i most shampoos. There was a few writeups on cancer causing but I have not heard it on reliable news.In shampoo, why is Sodium Laureth Sulfate a bad ingredient?

It is a detergent that can be harsh on your hair, especially if it's chemically treated at all. It can actually strip color out over time.
it is a carcinogen and may cause cancer
It dries out your hair, and can strip the color.
