Is it safe to use shampoos & conditioners with formaldehyde (formalin) as one of the ingredients?

Formaldehyde is a preservative and since your hair is dead what do you need preservatives for.....nothing! Some people are allergic to formaldehyde. I would find another shampoo and conditioner without this ingredient; it's useless and potentially harmful. Is it safe to use shampoos %26amp; conditioners with formaldehyde (formalin) as one of the ingredients?
I would not as Formalin is a key ingredient in embalming fluid. Is it safe to use shampoos %26amp; conditioners with formaldehyde (formalin) as one of the ingredients?
Of course it is! Think about it, formaldehyde is an ingredient used in embalming fluid and your hair is dead. Combine the two and the logic is simple. It makes perfect sense.
Formalin is used to prepare and preserve cadavers, it smells horrid and leaches water out of tissue... but it might get your hair really clean. I would avoid it just because anything that is capable of causing cellular death (you should see a cadaver) can't be good for your health...
