My girlfriend and I have been searching for a list of good and bad conditioner and shampoo ingredients and the only ones we've been able to find so far are from sites that are sponsored by a hair care company, we want a neutral list. Does anyone have any answers for me? I really hope so because we're getting lost. Thanks for your help.

As far as I remember, I think that, ideally, you should try to stay away from phosphates, but since a lot of shampoos have them, steer clear of formulas that have them in high quantities.
